Art Rotterdam 2025: Find us at Booth G2

This year at ART Rotterdam, we are excited to present new works by three exciting artists: Steffen Kern, Christian Hellmich, and Dirk Hardy. Each artist brings a unique perspective on daily life, exploring themes through diverse techniques that come together to create a compelling booth experience.

Dirk Hardy (b. 1989, The Netherlands) creates intricate tableaux that blend personal memories, observations, and imagination. His work explores how storytelling fosters empathy, connecting viewers with different perspectives. Hardy’s art invites audiences into a multitude of worlds, encouraging greater understanding and coexistence. We are excited to premier the newest series during the fair.

Christian Hellmich (b. 1977) revives Berlin's 'fringes' with a contemporary twist. His abstract, geometric compositions draw from a personal archive of photographs and other personal sources, exploring the city's edges and the imprint they live in our memory. His work evokes nostalgia while leaving room for personal interpretations.

Steffen Kern (b. 1988, Germany) uses pencil and charcoal to create striking works that play with light, shadow, and depth. His pieces, influenced by photography, tap into a collective visual memory. Kern’s use of vivid colors and monochromatic tones creates captivating, dreamlike imagery, blending elements of pop culture and film and creating a unique reality of its own.
