We are pleased to announce that works by Steffen Kern and Thijs Jansen will be included in Junk Space, a group exhibition at Museum MORE, on view from 7 November 2026 to 28 February 2027.
Bringing together more than thirty artists, Junk Space explores the anonymous and often overlooked spaces that shape our everyday surroundings: suburban neighbourhoods, motorway verges, vacant storefronts and shopping centres. Through painting, photography, installations and other media, the exhibition examines how we inhabit these places, how they influence our experience of public space, and how traces of human presence give identity to seemingly interchangeable environments.
Junk Space invites us to look again at the familiar places we pass through every day, revealing the stories and meanings that lie beneath their seemingly ordinary surfaces.
