Brandt Gallery proudly presents a solo booth featuring the latest works of internationally acclaimed artist Yigal Ozeri. Known for his hyperrealistic, documentary-style paintings, Ozeri masterfully captures the spirit of Americana, focusing on one of its most enduring cultural symbols: the American diner.

In his latest series, Ozeri explores the diner as more than just a roadside eatery. These classic establishments, often nestled in the heart of America’s backroads, represent sanctuary, comfort, and nostalgia. They go beyond social barriers, offering a communal space where people from all walks of life gather, sharing meals and stories. Steeped in the aesthetic of the 1950s and 1960s, diners evoke a golden age of American optimism, where chrome accents, neon glows, and vintage memorabilia create timeless interiors. Immortalised in pop culture through road movies, bikers, and long-haul truckers, they stand resilient and with their simplicity lasts unchanged in an ever-changing world. Ozeri’s paintings breathe life into these nostalgic spaces, with intricate brushwork capturing the soft reflections of neon on each counter, the warm glow of ambient lighting, and the subtle details of well-worn leather booths. His work is a celebration of American culture, identity, and the pursuit of belonging. For Ozeri, this theme is deeply personal. Having immigrated to New York in 1991, his art reflects the hopes, challenges, and transformation that define the American Dream. Through his stunning realism, he preserves not just the aesthetic beauty of the diner but also its deeper significance, a symbol of freedom, opportunity, and connection.

Experience Yigal Ozeri’s latest series in our booth at this year’s Expo Chicago 2025.
