Rutger Brandt Gallery is pleased to reflect on a highly successful debut at the iconic The Armory Show in New York City last week. We had an incredibly positive response to our presentation of dynamic watercolor works by the highly talented Randeko Milak.
We are also thrilled to announce that we awarded the TPC Art Finance Prize for "Best Booth" by The Armory Show committee, a huge honor!
Managing Director Naomi Baigell, who presented the prize, declared:
'After a few rounds visiting all the booths and close inspection of the installations and art, we got together to decide and the committee was unanimous that Rutger Brandt should be the winner. In the well appointed and elegant booth Radenko Milak's work came into its own. The striking watercolors in black and white, all executed in the last two years, reflect on the pandemic in a subtle and thoughtful manner'.
Radenko Milak’s artistic career has reached a new potential with this award, and we are proud to work with such distinguished artists in our gallery program. We look forward to showcasing at The Armory Show again in years to come.
