Untitled Art, Miami 2025: Find us at Booth C44

We are pleased to be presenting works by Steffen Kern and Johan de Wit at this year's edition of Untitled Art, Miami. 

Steffen Kern works with pencil and charcoal on paper, using a meticulous process that elevates these traditional materials into a distinctly contemporary practice. He reaches toward images formed in his mind, alluding to visuals that seem embedded in our shared pictorial memory. The works feel both recognisable and subtly uncanny, existing somewhere between film stills and a universal subconscious.

Johan de Wit brings together his fascination with aesthetic forms and everyday objects, working with pieces like tables or fire hydrants as well as abstract shapes that evoke archaeological references. Highlighting the interplay between open spaces and defined forms, and moving between concealment and revelation, De Wit ultimately reflects on the impermanence of lived experience.
